Being an orphan from the age of six, Nox learned how to handle himself the hard way. In a city and world that couldn’t care less about his existence only one person believed in him, himself.
His parents were brutally murdered in a raid by a gang of thieves and Nox only barely survived by hiding in the fireplace. He vaguely remember the name Villon being whispered by one of the thieves as he walked by. After many years of searching the criminal parts in and around Desert Springs the name never led him anywhere and now at the age of 27 he finds himself deeply involved in the same kind of evil deeds that led to his parents demise.
Nox showed great talent in the thievery business when he snooped around for his parents assailants and many involved parties showed great interest in him. He eventually rose to the top of the criminal society in Desert Spring and was just about to gain the trust of one of the most prominent thieves guild leaders when one of his most trusted friends betrayed him.
The great heist they had been working on for a year failed and Nox was trapped in a situation involving 20 guards from the local authority, a dire tiger, a big cage and 40 gallons of acid (?). He managed to escape but was now a wanted fugitive in Desert Springs with his face on posters everywhere. Some of his people had remained loyal and helped him escape to Wildegaarde.
This is not the first time that Nox had ever met hardship in his life and it probably wasn’t the last either. Remembering the hardships he had been through he shrugs the recent events off as a minor obstacle. He mutters silently “If at first you don’t succeed, steal again..”- With a smirk on his face as the carriage bumps along the road to Wildegaarde.
